Ray Conniff was known for his infectious pop recordings, which sold millions of copies world-wide. But not a lot of folks knew about his previous career as one of the top musicians of the big band era – writing for and playing with such bands as Bunny Berigan, Artie Shaw, and Harry James.

A note from Roger Spencer “I was fortunate enough to have worked with Ray for a few years in the 80s and got to spend a good amount of time discussing his career and learning about his musical evolution. I look forward to sharing stories and insights with you.”

This class will cover his career from the late 30s with the big bands through his pop success in the 50s and continuing through the 90s.

This class is made available free of charge through the generosity of the Ray and Vera Conniff Foundation.
